The problem

What was getting in the way.

Delivery requests were arriving through calls, texts and WhatsApp messages, and the day’s jobs lived in a notebook and the owner’s head. With three drivers on the road, it was easy to miss a booking or send two people to the same street.

What we built

The solution.

We built a simple web dashboard for entering bookings, assigning a driver and recording delivery status, with each job holding the address, contact details and delivery notes. Drivers update status from their phones, so the office sees progress without ringing round.

Scope

What the project included.

  • Booking list and daily job view
  • Driver assignment
  • Status updates from a phone
  • Customer details and delivery notes
  • End-of-day summary
The result

What changed.

  • All bookings in one place from the first week, with the notebook retired.
  • Drivers update jobs themselves, so the office no longer phones for progress.
  • The owner can see the day at a glance and plan the next one in the evening.
In their words
“We went from scribbled notes and constant phone calls to one screen that shows the whole day. It was straightforward to set up and the drivers picked it up in an afternoon.”
